Let him buy it for you and mod the crap out of your G...unless you need an SUV that sucks huge amounts of gas.

congrats dude, and let them buy it from you before you leave the lot like he said. I'd take the $ and invest it, maybe buy a new TV or something, but invest or pay off your G

BIG CONGRATS! Are you a mortgage broker or something?! I used to do that-thinknig about getting my license again and do it on the side. If you are, PM me if you got any good NC lenders for a guy who is 12 months out of his BK and is self employed.

Thanks & congrats again!

dont think that was the point. what are the chances that a random couple at a car dealership would know the g is called the skyline. as the story goes, the couple said, "he already has a skyline"

unless he has rebadged his car, the couple didnt know it was a g35, and just read his badging, there is very little chance a random couple would say "he already has a skyline"

they would more likely say, he has a g35 or an infiniti

I wonder if you can credit the amoount of the prize to the vehicle of your choice, or if the dealer is bound to the make/model of the car you were sitting in.

EXAMPLE:

You were in a GMC Denali stickered at $52K (SWAG). Instead of taking the Denali, you apply the $52K to a C6.

Worth asking I'd say. Given the dollar values and such, I don't know why GM wouldn't do it - either way it's the same $ out of their pocket. As long as the car you choose was eligible under their program it would seem doable.

Congrats and good luck - I look forward to seeing how this works out.
