350Z Tried To Race Me!

Drivin home last night after the Dodger game (they lost AGAIN), and this 350Z pulls up next to me and I could hear his loud *** exhaust. He starts revving and I look over shakin my head. Then he does it again. I finally signal him to roll down his window. I was still kind of drunk from the game so I said "I would race you for a bit but I'm too drunk." He just starts bustin up, but then he says "This is the 35th anniversary edition." I was like ooooh! Does that make his car special or does the 35th really pack a little extra power? I thought he was full of **** so I just kept laughing.

The only thing dumber than street racing is drinking and driving. You aced one but failed the other. In this case 50% is a crappy score.

The Anniversary Z carries a few performance and cosmetic improvements over the standard Zs. Pistons, cams, revised valve timing control, unique wheels and brembos are a few of the differences. New colors too.

Stock for stock magazine racing he should be quicker. On the street it may depend on who the better driver is, or in this case, who the sober driver is.

I won't preach - you're lucky you made it home without a ticket, or worse, an accident. Drinking and driving is never a good move.

The only thing more dangerous than street racing is driving drunk. Please consider your actions carefully in the future before you do such a foolish thing again

hey...It had been like 3hrs since I had a drink. I was hangin at my friends house for a while after the game. I was fine to drive, I just didn't want to do anything stupid since I had been drinking earlier.

First off I want to say......haha, the Cubs will win again tonight!! jp..

Secondly a normal 350z will whoop up on you, he doesn't need the extra hp, you should lose anyways.

the 35th aniv got the same engine as the track model ..and also the same as the new 05 G35 6 speed (altho G is rated at 2 hp short..lol). i think there arent any real differences between the G and the Z in engines..they jsut rate it lower cuz Z is supposed to be the "sports car"...so they gotta have a higher rating..pretty stupid.

but yeah, whether its a 287hp Z or the 300hp Z, u'll lose. unless the other guy cant drive. same power, less weight..it will alway own u!

I dont care what kind of Z it is..the inside is not as elegant as the G. It seems all these posers drive Zs in Dallas. Im not sure where you are, but that's how it is here.
