so I get off from work after working a 10 hour shift tired as heck. I cant wait to get to my car and just drive home. when I get to my car my clear corners are gone. I mean I was pissed about them being stolen but what pissed me off more was the thought of someone actually touching my ****. the clear corners are sooooo easy to steal and I could do the same but I will not. has anyone else gotten their clear corners stolen?

Karma is a bitch, eventually they will meet up with the wrong person and they will get whats coming with interest.

 

The person who stole them should be shot for owning a $35,000+ vehicle and stealing $30 corners...What a shame.

 

Or the more likely idea that they stole them to sell them.

 

Hey Shodog-how much hp did you gain from the vanilla sented air freshener? Is it possible to run two in the car at the same time without too much strain on the motor, j/k....

 

Damn thats a shame. Seems like such a "weird" thing to steal, but it is extremely easy to just pop off and walk away with.

 

I always thought the same thing! They should have at least one screw for security.

 

this was discussed quite a while ago. prolly when clears 1st made it out to the states. anyway, there were a few posts on how to make them a bit more secure. if you are interested, you may want to search. hard thing to search for tho, cause if you search clear corners, you will get every post by everyone who has it in their sig line.

btw - i where can i get clears now days? i have looked on ebay motors and all they have them for are the sedan and those dont look oem. everywhere else i look, they are back ordered...

The price has come down, so maybe it's not as big of a target. Just consider this - A) Thief steals your clears and you are out $30 OR B) Thief has problems stealing and scratches your paint and dents fender trying, then gives up and gives the car another kick out of frustration...you are now out $500+. Think about it and weigh your options based on risk factors.
