****Warning*********

VDC. If you are racing with it turn it off please...It actually works against your clutch to keep you tires from turning...Save yourself the heartburn of having to replace the clutch and pressure plate......Please, this car is sensative to everything you do...From gas to radio please take care of your car so you won't have to pay for something that is not told to you when you buy your car.....

Re: ****Warning*********

Thanks for the tip dude...I figured VDC just throttled down the gas...didn't know it touched the clutch.

Re: ****Warning*********

well it touches the clutch indirectly, thru the flywheel and then thru the engine who's RPM speed is monitored and adjusted by the VDC to minimize wheel slippage
Also take into account the braking that the VDC does sometimes, Tires and connected to the differential who is connected to the transmission gears which is connected to the clutch.
For the past 2 weeks, ive been turning off VDC when the roads are dry, but whenever it rains, i keep VDC on.
I guess my throttle is still a little lagged, the service tech said that its alot less laggy than what he's seen (g's with less miles) so i guess its gonna get better.....i hope so!

Gumpdriver: How much did it cost to replace your clutch and pressure plate??? I know you said it was covered under warranty, but im curious as to how much it will cost once the warranty is over
