Has anyone recieved any not so good looks from people who see you driving your g35?

Sure, all the time. Some people see a 21 y/o driving a G35c and they get jealous but I don't care...I'm the one working 70 hours per week so I can own a coupe.

 

Yes Yes finally someone who feels the same way i do. People seem to atimes think of the negative when they see some young person driving in a car of this class. i'm 23 and they look at me as if have just stolen the car for the dealership it is all gravy playa boy

 

HAHA I get that look all the time. I'm 25 but I'm Asian so I look young. Oh wells. All I gotta say is TS..tough [censored]. I graduated NYU with a Bachelors in Computer Science and working for a French Bank now...but does my car advertise my credentials, No. Forget them...just tell them to wipe their drool next time before it gets on your car. LoL

 

Yeh those jealous looks are out there bros, but the majority are good ones and complimentary. Guess we're gonna have to take the good with the bad. The price we're paying for having such an enviable ride. Enjoy the good ones and ignore the bad. [img]/w3timages/icons/frown.gif[/img]

lol finally someone that's feels just like i do. I'm 22 turning 23 in october, and people be looking at me like yeah another spoiled brat mommy and daddy buying them a car. To bad they don't know that i own a mill $ business with my father and i work my *** off almost 12hrs shift a day. Oh well it really doesn't bother me i know what i have comes out of my own pocket. Now sometimes when i drive my fathers cl 600 holy **** it's even worse lol but i give 2 ***** of what everyone thinks!!!

The thing I hate is when I have to go somewhere and leave my car outside with some dumb kids looking at me like I'm a spoiled brat.(like local bars)

I'm always afraid they are going to do something bad to it.

 

We all know that there are haters out there, I'm 26 and have had my share of those "driving your parents car?" looks as well. But there is something maybe some people don't realize about the psychology of being in a car. Alot of people treat their car as they would there own home. Although it is full of glass and often in plain view many people, they will often do wierd disgusting things or make faces and not really realize that other people may be watching.

Just take a look at the amount of "booger eaters" I have seen out there. I mean that is really sick but I am fascinated by how many people I have observed in my many hours of traffic doing that very thing! Yuck!

Yes I should be paying more attention to driving, but my point is that maybe some of those people may not be intending to glare or offend, but they do in spite of themselves. I just chalk it up to fact that the car is SOOOOOOOOO PHAT. [img]/w3timages/icons/cool.gif[/img] Most of the looks I have ackwoledged involve jaw dropping and that feels good to me.

For those are haters, that's what I have 20% tint, 280HP, and an accelerator pedal for cuz' I don't need it. Cheers to all the 20 somethin' drivers too on this forum that are workin their a$$es off to drive this outstanding piece of machinery. Peace..

Man, I'm on the REAL young side... 17, but I have been workin the past 2 years and have saved up about couple grands to downpay for the G... in total, overall, I'm lookin to pay 20grands (if my parents are willin to let me) and by no means is my family considered "rich" in the closest sense... we live in an apartment and make an income of about $40,000/year.. i will be WORKIN MY *** OFF LIKE NO OTHER (besides that guy whose workin like 70 hours a week) hahaha I'll be right up there with you guys, not takin those stupid envious looks from jackasses who don't realize that I work for what I have... Kudos for all the young guys on this forum workin their asses off to afford this amazingggggg fineeeeeeeeeely tuned machine of a car. heh well peace out guys! Lookin forward to owning my G in around sept =( the wait is much too long
