People always say "It is loney at the top". For most people that look at our G35s, we are on top and they are jealous b/c they don't see the sacrifice that we made to purchase this vehicle. Some saved for months while some put in ungodly hours at work. For the youngsters that are buying their Gs at 18 or 23, congrats. I got my G35 6MT coupe at 29 and i'm loving it.

The world is truly your oyster. It is up to you to decide how bad you want itand how hard you are willing to work to obtain it. Sorry for the being long winded. Let's all drop the hammers!

 

Who cares what people say/think?! Just enjoy what you have. (Here comes the lecture from the old guy...for all you 16-17yr old guys who are saving every last penny for this car...do something smart and invest in an education...back off the soapbox.
I'm 37, w/ MBA, finance/IT consulting career, wife, kids, big mortage, blah, blah.... When I was 20 or so my car was all I thought about/worked on. Now it's just a "nice" means of transportation. Don't take it too serious! It's just a car! My $.03! (raised for inflation)

I work the night shift sometimes and I am running on 6 hours sleep...
I came in at 12am friday night and Im done 12pm saturday.... in 20 minutes actually ... and if you catch me at that point ..I get a little odd sometimes ... thats why some of my posts are weird and I mention ... time to go to bed.

back to this subject again some a$$ hole tried to key my car a few days ago luckely my mother was coming out if the store..

 

On an Anti-Playa Hater notion...I was filling up my tank yesterday after I got off of work (thank God the price of gas is starting to drop) and this guy came up behind me and starting asking about my G (aka Chris Walters, long story). He told me how awesome it looked so I let him sit in it (driver and passenger sides). Then he says to me (and I've seen this on a few posts but had yet to experience it) "How much did this cost $55-60K?". I started laughing. I said "No way, $36K". His jaw nearly dropped and hit my floormats. Take the good with the bad gentlemen.

 

at least you have the ***** to say thay like your car...All i get most of the time is how can i afford a car like this and i don't like the car because they see me in it...

As I'm sure you know gump. People are entitled to their opinions...even though most other people's opinions are obviously and blatantly wrong. I actually like it if people have a negative comment or two. It shows me their not just their s#$%ing my d!ck about it. Some people will just they love it even though they don't. I'd prefer honest criticism backed with reasoning over false admiration ("I just don't like it" is not a valid criticism).

As to how I can afford the DG Coupe??? 3 simple words...LIVE WITH PARENTS.
