I'm 17 also. lol.

 

23 here and I get jealous looks all the time. I busted my *** in college to get my engineering degree, yet people assume I probably stole my G or got it from mommy and daddy. Let them think what they want - I'm glad I'm fortunate enough at my age to be able to pay for my G out of my own pocket.

 

i'm 24 and hardly notice the looks as i fly down the road. i have a lead foot. i had to spend seven months in afghanistan to get my g but it was worth it. i love it. the vet plates look nice on it too.

Well im new here so ill start off with a hi everybody!!

Ok well im 16 and ive already passed my drivers test and have my junior license. The G35C was the first car i saw and loved and thought i would love to have this as my car. Im gonna start to work soon and am gonna try to make as much money as i can so hopefully by december i can get my G35. I am not rich neither poor but just love this car.

And for the hater thing, when i drive my dads car people see me and i do look too young to drive so they look at me like what am i doing (even tho i drive better then the people in that area lol)

I can't even begin to imagine what insurance for a 17 year old would cost on this car!

 

Props to Mani and all the other engineering geeks out there. I'm an EE if anyone cares. Turning 24 in August. Haven't really gotten any dirty looks from ppl on the road. I get more **** from people at work. The older guys who are stuck driving mini vans because they have a wife, mortgage, and 3 kids. I'm constantly getting the "We pay these new guys too much around here". They're just jealous and constipated.

All the coupe drivers I've seen (I've only seen 3) seem to be young males (ages 23 - 28). Most of the sedan drivers seem to be older people (and women).

This was the first car I ever bought(I used to drive the parentals Saturn), I researched it, I paid for it (still paying for it), and I love it. To hell what other people think. Just leave them with the mental image of your brake lights getting smaller and smaller.

 

well Startertan.. there are some of us "old foggies" driving coupes (I'm 46). But then again, I don't have any baggage (wife or kids) Last weekend I saw a red coupe with big chrome 19's being driven by a little grey haired lady that appeared to be at least 70. You go grandma!
