350Z to 05 G35

hey guys, this is point where i need all of your help.
im now driving a 350Z and it has alot of problems.
tire feathering, rattles, etc... (poor ride quality)
and I was wondering, If i get 05 G35 AT.
what do i need to worry about on G35 that has been problem for long time?

im looking for smoother ride, comfortable, luxury interior style.
and i just can't get rid of that sweet exaust sound that 350Z/G35 got.
so i decided to stay in the family.

appriciate all the helps!
thanks

Great choice bro, you'll be happy with the G. Nothing too major to worry about with the G, which is a good, reliable, and comfortable ride.

The G still has rattles. My 05 with 3000 miles rattles at the left front a/c vent, driver door panel, glove compartment, and both front seat belt guides. Before I had them fixed, the rearview mirror and center concole rattled. Other than the rattles, I love my car. Maybe you'll have better luck with the rattles than me. Good luck.

I have the problems with the rattles also... did you get it fixed under warranty or did you take care of it yourself?

no rattles on my car. the only problems i've had is the bose stereo not holding settings (had it replaced once already... and still the same problem), and i had an oil leak due to a faulty gasket. other than that i have been extremely happy with the quality.

My dealership tried to fix my rattles under warranty. Unfortunately, it seems like everytime they fix one rattle, another one pops up somewhere. It's not unbearable, just irritating. Hopefully, there will be more TSB's for rattles on our cars so dealership service departments can fix these rattles more efficiently. Good luck!

I made the exact switch you are contemplating. I actually got the car bought back by nissan allowing me to get all my money back less the mileage I used for the car. Pretty good deal. If you live in Florida let me know and I can refer my attorney to you. Best of luck.

Well as far as the smoothness of the ride, make sure you dont get the sport tuned suspension package, because that will give you a much harder ride. I have encountered rattles in both my 04 5AT and my 05 6MT. The 04 5AT rattles were mostly created from the subs I had in the back, however. My 05 6MT doesnt have subs, and I have noticed rattling by my left A/C vent, by the plastic pannel under the steering wheel, and the rearview mirror. I havn't noticed any others yet. I am going to the dealership ASAP to get them to look at these and see what they can do.

All in all, IMO the G's styling is much more sleek and luxuious, along with sport, where as the Z is strictly sport. You also gain a back seat with the G, if that is important to you. You also get many more creature comforts in the G. The interior is much more luxurious. Good Luck.
