I have an 03 6mt coupe with an ATI s/c that I bought used last March. It now has just over 17k on it. I noticed grinding into 3rd when cold a few times in the past, but over the past 2 days it is grinding when warm/hot. If I Granny drive it it seems fine. I am planning to race it at Pocono next weekend... What do you think I should do? Take it in this week or wait until I return? Will this hurt the car to race it? Can it cause me to have an accident?

Any advice would help....

 

It's a typical issue with the 6M/T's and racing it won't do it any good. I doubt it'll cause an accident tho.

You may want to get a new Key for the car .. See if that helps fix it.
