OK, I just installed two Dunlop Direzza in the rear this morning and I have completely lost stability, the rear dont loose grip but I get a feeling that I am riding on 14 inches rims....

Is this type of feeling will go in a few days?

(I am a new owner of a 2004 g35coupe m6)

I had the KDW's on my BMW, and I thought they were great. Great dry traction, wet traction was superb, even after a few thousand miles. Tread life isn't that great, and the sidewalls are kinda weak. It seemed like I always had a bubble on one of the tires, but that could be from the horrible NYC streets. Anyway, I would recommend them, and I would strongly recommend road hazard coverage if you live in an area where the streets aren't that good.

I replaced my rear pilots at 29k my with Bridgestone Potenza S03's and they work perfectly. I think the handling is better than with the pilots on the rear. Wet traction is surberb. So not all bad with mismatched tires.

Oh and for those who were wondering what the pilots looked like when I replaced them... they were slicks. I'll post a picture of them when I get the picture off the camera. pretty bad.

did your tire needed a "break in" of couple km or miles before you get good steering response?

I didnt really break them in. They were fine out the box. But I'm sure with the way I drive they loss whatever coating they would have had on the tires to begin with
