Yes, I am a registered Rennlist user, you'll find me in the Boxster section mostly. A friend of mine in PCA has a '91C2, it's a fun car on the track.

Re: MSRP or something less?

Major Infinity in KC has the largest discounts,
The dealership you represent, Bomarrito (sp?) discounts
Plaza in St. Louis discounts on certain cars
MotoWerks and Infiniti of Isle in Chicago
and the Atlanta dealership that advertises here all discount
The dealership in Springfield Mo discounts as does the one in Omaha Nebraska, I haven't had a chance to speak to someone at the dealership in Des Moines yet.

It is simply a matter of calling around to find what you want at the price you want to pay. If you want a car for less than MSRP and a dealer isn't willing to budge, then don't buy the car. No one "needs" a car, take a bus, carpool, drive what you already have, etc. Set a price that you are willing to pay and stick with it, eventually some dealer that wants to sell a car will sell it to you, they don't get rewarded for having cars sit on the lot.

Re: MSRP or something less?

FYI,
Dealer called back, had another option, went in and negotiated and we got within $100 of each other and the dealer wouldn't budge.

Sorry no dice, we walked. ON a car this price $100 shouldn't make a difference, but it was the principal of how they were dealing or excuse me, NOT dealing that made us walk.

I suspect they'll call back tomorrow and find a mystery $100 that they can come down... sheesh...

Haha. I just went to an Infiniti Dealer in So. Cal and it seems that they have two Caribbean Blue G35's. One in auto with premium and aero, the other in manual with premium and aero. The dealer offered me $700 under MSRP for the manual. I would have bought the car on the spot if it was in Black.

I just don't like the blue color.

Whats the best dealer in So. Cal?

Re: MSRP or something less?

I got $500 off msrp + free oil changes on my '04 order. I live in the tri-state area (southern ct, 1 hour south of manhattan).
It wasn't that hard since I have two infiniti dealers within 20 minutes of one another. All you need to get $$ off is an "I don't care" attitude, a cometing dealer, and most importantly a hungry salesman who has the desire to push the deal through for you. But be prepared to sign and leave a deposit on the spot...
