Did you test drive your car before you bought it?

I didn't, I knew it was exactly what I wanted.

Yup. Dropped the hammer on her as soon as I was in the drivers seat. Good times good times.

 

my dad wanted to test drive a few cars before we decided... test drove the rx-8 first ( so glad I didn't get one), and then my dad surprised me by stopping by Infiniti. I fell in love and didnt even bother to test drive an STi. Sometimes I regret not test driving one though

I test drove about 5 different Gs over the course of a year before getting my own. Mine was fresh off the truck with 3 miles on it and I only drove it after the dealer got it cleaned up and ready for me.

 

I even found mine from a dealer in Ohio, I'm from Chicago. Did not test drove, just went in and signed.

 

test drove mine around the block of the dealership then bought it....

 

I spent 2 weeks driving big tahoes and escalades, then on impulse stopped at the Lexus dealership and tried the IS300. The lexus dealer actually wouldnt stop telling me how great the G35 was, so I went to Infiniti and bought it on an impulse. Ive never regretted it.

 

I test drove it last night. The salesman made the mistake of letting me know that it wasn't the car I would be walking out the door with so I could go teswt it however I saw fit. As soon as I pulled out of the dealership I was next to a e36 m3 that keeped giving me little blips, so I dropped it to second and took off. He couldn't catch up. The salesman asked me to get on the highway. The enterance had a stop sign where he instructed me on how to turn off the vdc and told me to go ahead and lit up the rear tires. After the highway, he took me down some windy backroads where I got to really test the handling. He made it clear that he had never been on a test drive that so thuroughly tested the car.

 

Test drove just because we were at the dealer negotiating and said, WTF, might as well get a little drive. Test drove two, but didn't really get to get on it. My wife and I both knew, though, without a test drive, that we wanted it no matter what. I always liked the Z and she liked the G35 Coupe, but...we need a back seat for the car seats....we need a family car, if you will.

test drove an auto but ended up takin the stick...but then b4 i went to infiniti i alrdy test drove a 350z stick if that counts :P

 

I had already negotiated the price before the the test drive. He was suprised that I have never driven the car before and I was already ready to buy.... maybe that's why he didnt move much on his price????

 

I had driven 2-3 automatics (friends' cars) before I got mine and came to the conclusion that I wanted the stick even without testdriving it
