Son of a Biiiooottch!

damn it fellas,
I have discovered that some mf'er was backing out and clipped the front corner of my car! There is a teen chip with a streak extending about 8-10 inches. I think I will be able to buff out the streak and I ordered some diamond graphite touch up paint so I hope that it will be ok. It's not really noticeable but I know it's there so I can't stop thinking about it!! You guys know what I mean...

I'm thinking about getting one of those rubber nose guard things. Are those considered "gay?"

sorry to hear about it. If the scratch is not too deep, I would recommend 3M scratch remover works very well. Hope that helps

touch up paint is only good for short time. (temporary purpose)
consider yourself to get aftermarket/OEM if you cant stand against it.

I would have to disagree.. I think if you do a good job and fill the chip with both paint and a few layers of clear. .and take your time with the job it will last very long.

the chip is really really small. so i think that the touch up should do it. What do you mean by clear mc2?

clear coat..
try www.paintscratch.com They sell a kit which includes the base coat and clear coat touch up

there's also a very detailed writeup on how to touch up chips on www.autopia-carcare.com.. they have before and after pictures. you would never be able to tell there was a scratch.
