HRE's banned

I own a set of 19" 441Rs. (click GOT MODS in my link for cardomain page)
I've had them for almost 6 months now. I've hit a multitude of potholes and bumps with these wheels. One hit was hard enuff to snap off the TPS from one of the wheels. I live in SoCal where after the last season of rain, thousands of potholes showed up. I live in Los Angeles, where streets are just torn up.
These rims are strong. I can definitely vouch for them. My car/wheel enthusiast friends will vouch for that as well. Other friends have had their rims bend while mine have not. They're great wheels.
Now, would i take these wheels to the track? Hell no. Not because i question the strength, but because i don't want to damage them somehow. I spent a lot of money on these wheels. But i have to admit, i bought these for show. Not for go. I'd pick up a set of beater track rims like ENKEI's for the track.
Like LUCIDAZN posted, things are bound to happen. Wheels are not indestructible. They're also man-made. It could have been a bad batch of wheels, it could have been anything... what i do know is HRE goes WAAAAAY back. They've been around for a long time. I trust them.
