If I could go back to the day I bought my G I would of bought a fully loaded black G minus the real spoiler. Then I would do 4 things and be done (excluding small mods tint, clear corners, etc)

1. Kenstyle Kit
2. PIAA Super Rozza's in Hyper Black
3. HKS Hi-Power exhaust
4. Tein Flex w/ EFDC

Even thought that G (I have seen this setup before or somthing similiar I believe) would not be considered heavily modified... I think that would be the cleanest, best looking G IMO... its funny this is coming from a guy with a DG G with silver wheels, but I had a black car with a kit on it before and I just couldnt deal with the swirls, paint chips on the bumper... and all the other **** that comes with owning a black car...

Id like to hear from other owners what you would of done different as well

PS: Im very happy with my car right now becuase it is so easy to maintain but sometimes I wish I went with the setup I mentioned above no matter how hard it is to maintain.

get a 2004 fully loaded black coupe minus navi with the 05 rims.. sitting in the showroom

then i would get tints, pop charger/ Z tube, and clear corners

even tho my car car is white i wash or clean it or spray off the front bumper at least once ever 2 days or so ... i thought about getting black.. but the infiniti ivory pearl is soo nice when its all clean and with some wheels.. i just had to get the white.. my next car will be blac.. probably a m3 or m6 the bmw black is soo damn sexy!

btw the whole kenstyle kit really does look good on a black car i must say!

 

I would have gotten the Caribbean Blue instead of the Brilliant Silver. I love detailing my cars and can spend hours rubbing the thing with a good MF towel. I just can't get a good shine with the BS, even with Zaino. I saw a buffed out CB the other day...I was a thing to behold!! What a shine!!

I would get the AT instead of the 6MT also. I had a service loaner from the dealer that was an AT....it rocked.

 

sorry to hear that you're not satisfied with your G....

I have no second thoughts about my G and the mods I put in it.
It's about as much I was expecting from this car.

 

would have got IP with no spoiler, 6MT with brembos. No nav.

then add:
1. some nice rims
2. HKS RS coilovers
3. Nismo bumper
4. INGS or Impul sides
5. a badass spoiler no one has
6. veilside rear valence or greddy
7. Ings fenders
8. Aftermarket Nav

Im plenty satified... I love my G the way it is.. but say if I went another route.. that would be the route. S^it I wish I could afford to keep my G I got now and buy a new black one and do what I said above.

You'll be MORE satisified as soon as you get the D-Specs on there and Stillen
swaybars. you might even forget about the black.

 

PS: I went to the beach tonight with some friends, and when I get their I always drive the strip once, and I got idleast 5 compliments from people walking. (I dont go that loud music crap.. I just crusie in 1st at like 3k and lhe the exhaust purr. One *girl* said this "ooooo skyline!" and whisled.. I thought it was awesome coming from a girl... I was suprised she would know what it was.. to bad I didnt couldnt tell which girl said it.. I bet she would make an awesome gf for a car enthusiast.

 

if i could go back to day i bought my G35... i would walk out of dealer and keep the S2000 ..........dont get me wrong ,, G35 is a nice car and everything comfy... but i miss my s2000's sporty feeling... now my dad wont get s2k for me ..
