Here's my story... When I wanted my G, I specifically wanted black on black with Nav... I was told at Cerritos AND Metro there were none in the country, BUT they will keep looking... I stopped at Infiniti of Montclair just for the hell of it, and what did I see? MY G! That's right, none in the country, BUT THERE IT WAS, less than 45 mins from Cerritos and less than 20 from Metro... I got a call from Cerritos about 3 weeks later... The guy tells me there are still none, but if I place my order now, I will certianly have it in 3 months... When told that I already purchased one, his response was, "Hm... Interesting..."

With a custom order like that, you better check if your deposit is refundable. They will give you a lot of BS to take your money, saying they can't sell a car w/ only a sunroof and no other options.

What is your option breakdown?

Ok so I just go to the lot and do what you tell me to do? How old are you?

I don't want the premium package. I'm just going to rip the entire stereo out of it, all of it including the head unit! So why should I pay for this, when I'm just going to discard it? Pretty stupid to waste $ like that. This ain't about the affordability guy, I can afford a car twice the price and it still wouldn't be more than 15% of my monthly gross. I don't want the f'in premium package. The cost savings is $1500 without it, and I'd rather use that on a Pioneer D1 headunit since the stock H/U is nothing but a headache for many people. And who cares anyway, Infiniti set this car up so you can order it like that so I should be able to do that very thing without this bs hassle, and not take flack from people like you when I don't want it. No, I don't want to spend the $ on that, it's pissing money in my eyes. I don't care if it's $500 or $5k.

And for whomever else said this, I'm listening to the stock stereo in my current ride, not the G!

It's nonrefundable if they actually get you the car you ordered and don't want it. It's fully refundable if they fukt up, like this. And I think that is what I'm going to do, get my $1500 back.

Actually the price difference is $1500 on the old price plan which is what I was on. If I reorder now, I'm on the new prices, so I get to pay more

So let's take your stupid analogy one step further. In your left hand stick 15 one hundred dollar bills. In your right hand nothing. Which one would you rather have?

Hmmm, that's a tough choice. Sure, $1,500 would be nice. But my right hand has been very good to me.

Whoa there buddy, you should go buy a Porsche then! No wait, F' the Porsche, get a Lamborghini.

If you want it for resale value (Which i wouldnt know why it matters with all the money you make), you would want to get the premium package still, as it comes with dual zone climate control, power steering wheel tilt and telescope, auto on-off headlights, and Homelink. Homelink itself is another 400$ or so to get online, and then add the other options. It's well worth it.

I hope the dealer doesn't screw with you about getting your cash back. I ordered mine as well and waited three months... I remember how the anticipation just killed me. I knew when the car was in the dealers inventory before the sales man did... only by a few hours but I did. It would have been devistated if it had not been what I ordered. You can see from my sig what I got, and I don't regret not having a sunroof one second... but that is not what you wanted. When I ordered I got an order/confirmation number and was delivered as promised. THANK YOU Lokey Infiniti!

I don't have any advice, sorry... but I sincerely hope you get your money back or the car you want at the price you should have gotten it for.

I found out where to get the homelink mirror for $200 to add that on later if I so choose. I just couldn't see paying for that package when I'd be replacing the audio system, and that is the main selling point for the package. IT would feel like paying for a stereo twice, in the end.

My resale would be fine without it, honestly. I could go on about that, but it isn't the point really. They fukt up. Infiniti makes it where you can order the car how you want it to a certain degree if you are willing to wait the 3 months. I was and I did, and they didn't hold up to their end of the bargain. No worries. I've honestly waited long enough, so I think I'm just going to wait another year for the '07 models and choose from the all new G35, the GTR if it's available and Honda's new $40-50k sportscar. It seems like that model year will have some great choices. I'm trying to take a negative and turn it into a positive. I'll have more money for investments this year now as well
