Can someone please tell me how the radio is wired for Sat. Radio??? What will have to be done to get it and what they would do to install it?? (the dealership) And if I get an after market 1 how will that install and will the Sat button be useful?? I have no exp with sat radio so please tell me and explain to me like im a 5 year old thanx

 

Call 1-888-216-5328, ask for Joe. Thats the number to infiniti parts usa. i got the unit from them and put it in myself in like 20 mins. It does work with the SAT button and is really easy to do. They will explain everything to you. Good luck!

 

I believe he is asking if you get SAT radio from someone other than Infiniti, will it still integrate into the head unit?

 

Dont See why you would want it prewired from anyone other than Infiniti/Nissan. The interface that I got says nissan and clarion on it. It works the way that it should with the factory deck. Any other setup would require an FM modulator which would degrade the digital quality of the music. If thats what your looking for..
