performance difference between z tube and cf z tube?

is there a performance difference between the standard z tube and the unlimited tuning cf z tube? If the cf tube isnt sacrificing any performance, i'd like to get that because it looks a lot cooler.

thanks guys

If there would be a difference in performance it would be marginal. In fact there's none to marginal difference in performance between the stock G-tube and the Z-tube. The sound is just sweeter

Agree with Eddie - the biggest difference is going to be in the sound and the SOTPM. You should be fine either way you go unless one creates a different tone than the other.

i dont really think performance wise there is much of difference. the ztube really is just for the sound. the cf looks better but the stock ztube gets the job done.

Has anyone actually heard both the OEM Z-Tube and the UT CF Z-Tube to see if they sound different?

I have the CF. It's much quieter than the normal Z Tube. It's even quieter than the OEM G Tube. But it looks good in my opinion.

I'd go with the OEM for a few reasons. It's OEM so no dealer should give you a issue for having it. Another reason is HEAT. Metal/CarbonFiber attracks heat much worse than just the OEM plastic does. So you be better off with a OEM.

Is the Carbon Fiber tube smaller in diameter than the Z-Tube?
