Doing it yourself without a lift ....bad idea
making sure it clears the heat shield (hammer) on drivers side....good idea

I am doing it at my friends shop with a lift. But I was hoping for better comments than 1 liners from a comic.

LOL
Well the comic has two more one liners

1 - use the search feature on the forum...the installation of crawford cats has been well discussed.

2 - chill out dude; it just another mod

He maybe a comic but he is right, make sure to hammer the driver side heat shield on the car before installing or your going to get a rattle you will never want to hear.

My Crawfords fit great out of the box with no hammer. The workmanship and fitment were Top Notch.

As far as installation, no big deal. You can reach all the bolts from the bottom with a lift, though some get the manifold, cat bolts from the top with a socket and a long extension.

Talking

Thanks everyone. I got them installed and no vibration anywhere. I did pound the heatshield on the drivers side w/ an air hammer and it was fine. I drove about 80 miles so far today, and I actually reset the computer also. I think the car feels like it is a little quicker, but I really need to get this on the dyno and to the track to see if these mods ( Invidia G200 Td Exhaust, Crawford HF Cats, Z-Tube/JWT Pop Carger ) are effective. Overall I am happy, but the dyno and track are the true test. As for adding the HF Cats I dont think it changed the sound of the Invidia G200, maybee up top a little more grunt. But cruising on the Highway at 85 MPH around 3200 RPM's it is still quiet, but put your foot into it, and she roars!!!
