Why did you replace your plugs in the first place?

I don't know if the coil assemblies are the same as those in my old 95 Maxima (3.0L) but as I recall, the front three were a different length than the rearward three. Check to see if this is the case on the G. If you have the coil with the short plug wire where the longer one belongs, there is a gap between the top of the plug electrode connector and the connector in the coil, giving weak or no spark to the plug. Another place to check is to make sure you have no air leaks in the plenum. Just a thought!

Damn dude......you need to stop performing your own work until you get some knowledge in this area

First off....me having built many muscle cars, engines etc in the last 18 years of my life (I am 34). Let me give you a little lesson as to what happened.

An internal gas combustion engine has to have a particular firing order (that is dictated by camshaft, computer and crankshaft position). In your case the computer controls the spark....sending a signal to your coils telling them when to fire and when not to. This is all in synch with the relation of the camshaft (when it has both the intake and exhaust valves closed.....the compression stroke) and the piston approaching Top Dead Center. When that event occurs a spark is ignited and the explosion takes place.

But.....if you (in putting everything back together) put the wrong coil wire going to the wrong cylinder....then you have some misfiring going on. Meaning that a cylinder is getting a spark when its not supposed to....say when it is on the exhaust stroke instead of the compression stroke and therefore its running like crap.

You need to first off find out the correct firing order and how the cylinders are numbered on these engines (I just bought my G two weeks ago and have not had a chance to study them yet). Then you need to get back in there and ensure that you have the correct wire/coil going to the correct cylinder.

Do that and you will be good to go

Oh and just a side note. Hopefully you applied "anti-seize" compound to the spark plug threads BEFORE putting them in and that you torqued them accordingly (not too tight).
