06 G35s...

Does anyone know when they will hit the floors? I can't remember when Infiniti likes to release the new models. Nissan used to be around this time of the year. I want to say that it is in November for Infiniti.

Thanks

Thanks. I'm thinking about picking one up. AFAIK there aren't any changes between the 05 and 06, is this right? I was going to try and pick up an 05 cheap because of the 06s. I'm not sure if I'm going to do that or not. I'm still debating about getting another Z32 TT.

Thanks again

We're not sure if there are changes or not. But usually when there are changed they run some of the last model year's with a few of the changes (hense 2003.5, 2004.5...). So far I haven't heard anything about a "2005.5" yet, which would be a good indicator.

Then again, there might just be a couple small changes which they wouldn't bother "testing out"

From what I have seen, there might be a change in the headlight design for '06. Nothing has been announced. Why would the 6MT come out after the Auto coupe? Neither are new models....

Marketing strategy since 6MT sell hotter. They build up a hype, a fake "waiting" list, then tell you that we can't deal on it (which is usually the case for the first few months until sells decline). I mean cmon, this isn't an Aston Martin, there are plenty of these cars....all marketing.

No kidding, I hope thats not true because my dealer told me that I could order a 2006 6MT now and have it in 90 days with my VPP pricing....I'm gonna jump on it but I hope I dont get any trouble in 90 days when I expect the car.

So far, I've only seen that the '06's are going to have projectors for the low beams. Can't really say anything else.

What do you mean by sell hotter? I know at my dealer 5ATs sold 10:1 compared to the 6MTs.

did the dealer give you a price list and list of options you can get on the 06? Because last I talked to my dealer he said they would start taking orders Aug.

I went to a grubbs sponsored event here in DAllas. They said the G35 would be redesigned in 2007 with new features and added power. The sound system and new features would resemble those in the m35/45.

i think you are talking about the new 2007 GT-R?

i was just talking about it to my friend today; he showed me the actual concept photo and article.
i will post it when i talk to him tomorrow.

the lights look like the new M's, but the overall styling doesn't look quite updated (quite frankly i was disappointed; nothing like the 2005 to 2006 eclipse remodel).

it will have a TT V6 with about 380whp, most likely with upgrade packages in Japan since it's legal there.

He told me to give him a call back later in the week and he would find out if he could add me to his order list. No price list though b/c he said some of the prices could change between when I place my "order" and when I get the car. I guess there is no official order starting now.
