Gas mileage on G35C
man, you guys must live right next to the freeway or something lol cuz i'm averaging 16.8 mpg.
i live in irvine, california and the streets here are long and spacious.
but i hardly use the freeway so there's your answer right there.
and i heard something about the gas mileage spec tests are done without using any gas at all, so the actual is always going to be lower than what's on the spec sheet.

Usually average about 19.x. I might be a fanatic about this, but I always like to reset my counter on my trip odometer and divide that by the gallons filled on the receipt so that usually comes out to about 19.x - Not too bad, since I do tend to drive it pretty hard.

But push the g's some and of course your pay. No surprise there.
There are some who have had difficulty getting good mileage, but both my Sedan and Coupe have been surprisingly frugal with some care.

So I heard about this car called the Honda Accord. It's not that much fun, but it get's great gas mileage. Why don't you give that a try????
Gas will be a major expense if you get a G, but why get something this fun and then drive it like a grandma to try and save spare change at the pump.

Before the Z-Tube and K&N, I was getting about 22 or 23 MPG combined city/highway on my 6 speed 2004 G35 Coupe.... which is better than my 4 Cylinder 240SX gets.

Guaranteed??? I didn't receive a guarantee with my Z tube! I want my money back, I average around 17.8 with max MPG of 22 and lowest of 16.x
^are you out of gas completely as you are entering the gas station? I doubt it, you mpg is probably higher. The only way to get an exact # would be to hit your trip reset the next time you fill up and when you fill up again divide how many miles you have gone by how many gallons it took you to fill back up to the top, not how many gallons the car holds.

...ahh wish i got more but thats not why i bought my G
