the people that average over 20mpg, are you guys using the Navigation for your figures or doing manual calculations?

Highest I've gotten was this weekend with 20mpg which included like 80% highway... and barely any acceleration... on a more typical day I get 17 to 18... and if I'm really aggressive i've gone as low as 15mpg... I'm going by the figures in the nav...

you guys getting mid 20s must be barely touching the gas lol...

I tried to drive very conservative during my last fill up and I got 19.5 MPG. id say about 70% highway and Im driving anywhere from 65mph to 75mph. One or twice i hit 95 but that was for not more than 2 min each time.

Lets just be happy we dont have RX8's

No navi for calculating mpg's here. but as I said, the coupe will do much better, but it's optimum mpg's and only at the speed limit. Mix in city driving and fun times, then around 20 (on the US gallon) sounds about right.

I do all my measurements on the Nav... and I'm averaging 25.6 MPG over the past 2 weeks.

I haven't tried doing the calculations by hand, but maybe I'll do that next week to see how accurate the nav is.

I'll post the results here and let you guys know if the manually calculated vs Navigation-monitored MPG sync up or not.

At first I was using just the navigation and then I heard of a bunch of people saying the navi wasn't that accurate. So on my next fill up I did it by actual #'s and the MPG came out the same.

I also average around 19.x mpg and that's about 80% city/traffic driving.
If I go on long freeway trips on the weekends (can anyone say Vegas?), I'll do around 23-25 mpg.
There must be something wrong with my car, though, because she won't let me do under 80 on the freeway! (heh-heh)
