How can I tell if my coupe is an 03 or 03.5? I DO have the SAT button activated according to the guy I bought the car from. Are there any other differences between the two?

 

i think you should be able to tell by the vin #.

 

It's activated? What does that mean? Is there real hardware attached and a sat antenna? If not, then I guess mine is "activated" too.

 

By "activated", I guess he means he '03.5 coupes had the sat prewired (i.e., necessary wiring harness running from the back of the head unit to the trunk.) Earlier '03s did not.

There were several TSB's on the early build '03 coupes that gradually got fixed as the 03.5's rolled on. Here are the ones I tracked down

You will have the prewire for SAT. You will also have an updated CD changer which is supposed to be quicker than the 03. Other than that, I think that as regards a 6MT you will have an updated center console.
