I did a search, but since everyone has "clear corners" in their sig, nearly every post comes back!

As the subject says, are all clear corners created equal for our cars? In other words, if I order a set from everythingg35.com for $40, am I getting basically the same thing that I would get from anywhere else? Do some have better plastics or anything?

Yes they're all the same, as far as I know.

Not ALL clear corners are created equal. The real JDM ones come in the gray Nissan box like mentioned. The fake ones are the one's on eBay.

There are "real" ones on eBay. That's where I bought mine and they came in the Nissan box. When in doubt, ask the seller if they are JDM.

 

my question is, what is the difference in the fake ones and the real ones? they pretty much look the same and i'm betting the lights will be the same. do i need to spend $10 more for the nissan name? i'm just wondering cuz i'm in the market to one.

 

im guessing they are more then likely the same..but if your paying 30,000+ for a car im sure you can afford 10 bucks to get the "real" ones

 

Probably fit and finish. They were made specifically for this car.

 

i don't think the issue is the $10. rather, you never know how the fitment or quality will be with non-oem parts. it can be hit or miss....unless you have verified/inspected the part by a specific manufacturer. and buying thru ebay, you won't know until you have already paid for it.

"Real" and "Fake" LMAO and what determines this?? Actually they are both "real". I think its a matter of opinion or personal preference. Alot of people like the JDM ones but I personally got the other ones because I like the look of them better. They fit just fine with no problems.

 

The JDM clears are identical to the amber corners in every way except color.
