Damn, what a jerk. I had something similar, but even worse happen to me. My windshield wiper blade slipped off somehow, and when I went to use them in the rain one time, I found out the hard way.. It scratched an arch into my windsheild. Luckily, props to Ray Catena Infiniti they covered it for FREE under a faulty wiper blade, and had a repair guy come out and buff it right out.

 

That sucks! Least they didn't key your paint up or something that would be a major pain to fix. This does suck but fixable. Sorry to see people hate on your ride and actually take a step too far and break your stuff.

 

Sorry about that. Some guys are just jerks and haters.

On a different note, I'm not sure how it is in CT but having no front plate and having a misplaced front plate will get you the same ticket. I'm from out of state which requires 2 plates but when I'm around NJ, I take the front one off.
The only time I got a ticket was when I had one plate in the window...after I took it off completely, no more tickets.

IS300, due to a home situation (I'm house hunting), I'm temporarily staying with my in-laws. Unfortunately, they have only one parking space and so I'm forced to park on the street.

I know it could have been much worse, but I think that BECAUSE it's a minor thing, I'm so pissed. Some people should not deserve to live!
In the mean time I was able to bend it into place and order a new arm $70.

On a lighter note, I was thinking to myself that instead of doing something stupid like that, they should have just stole my wheels... could have been a good opportunity to get some new Volks

That sucks. Same thing happenned to my old GSR years ago. Someone stole all of my wiper blades and my VTEC emblem. Get garaged asap. Good thing it's an easy fix.

At least there is no major body damage and you don't need paint work...

Yeah that does suck, but it's something that can be easily fixed and forgotten. Never seen anyone do that before though.
