2004 6mt

I have a chance to purchase an 04 G 6mt that has everything but the nav. system. The car has 7500 miles and looks brand new and comes back CarFax clean. I can get the car for $31,000. Does this seem reasonable? Is there that much of a difference between the 04 and 05? Do you think I can get a comparable 05 for the same price. Thanks in advance.

You aren't going to get an 05 at that price. That is a good price for a 04 with those miles. Check it out on kbb.com and see what it comes up as private party price is what I would try to pay.

That price iz abt right... If it was a AT then you may get it for a little less but the 6MT are a bit more pricey, as u already know...

The 05 6MT are also more expensive because of the increase in HP

No offense but I say you spend the extra 6 thousand if you can and buy a new one.

Located in NW Indiana(Chicagoland area). A new 05 would cost me about an extra 6k? Kind of scary with 06s around the corner. The car is mint. Has all the manuals, all the keys and remotes. Really is like brand new not to mention it already has the windows tinted. It is the brighter gray(silver) with the ivory interior. Really is a nice color combination. Looking forward to joining the club. Any suggestions as to mods to begin with. Anything that would help with highway mileage?

04

Bought mine 2 months ago. 04 6mt, pearl with black leather, with everything, including navigation and satelite radio. Paid $30k but took a little hit on my trade in. And I also noticed a little gap difference from each side of the trunk, which makes me think this car could have had trunk replaced. carfax clean, and bought it from an infiniti dealer so it has all warranty and stuff. Same 7.5k miles too. Now at 12.7K.
Good luck, I think you should pay no more than 30K without nav. But then again, if you know it's clean, and perfect, than go for it.

Sounds like a nice ride at a decent price. I have an 04 6MT that has every option except for the crappy looking body side moulding and NAV and you know what? I WISH I WOULD HAVE GOT THE NAV! If I was buying used, I'd probably hold out for a NAV-equipped model.

Good mods to start out with really depend on your personal taste and expectations. I do 95% of my driving around the city and that is where gas mileage really suffers. On my occasional trips out of town, the gas mileage is outstanding in comparison.

The nav system is no big deal to me as I pretty much just go from point A to point B. I drive 65 miles each way to and from work. All of the driving is highway. I am looking for something to make the ride that much more enjoyable. I have an 04 Avalanche right now that is killing me on gas. I will be giving that to my wife to run around town in. I just came back from Orland Pk. Infiniti and the sales guy came right out and said they don't have to offer any incentives on the G as they sell themselves and he already sold 3 today. The deal on the 04 is looking better and better. All they had on the lot that wasn't brand new 05s was an 03 that the rear tires were smoked on. I appreciate everyones input. Thanks guys.
