This thread reminds me of a similar experience I had on another site. At a car meet, a kid with a Lexus IS300 asked me for my opinion. The car had Dub spinners and steam blowing out of his front grill. I stood there in amazement and he kept begging for my opinion. I tried to keep quiet but he asked for it. I told him the car was an insult to us Lexus enthusiasts. It was embarrassing. I told him spinners and steam do not belong ona car with a luxury name. The guy and his buddies did not take it well. Over the next couple months, he was in constant arguments with people on several sites who agreed with my assessment of his car. I feel bad it happened but he asked for it...repeatedly. If he didn't want the truth, don't ask. Any person could see I was trying not to say anything. As for this car. I've mellowed a little. People can do what they want to their car. Modding is about individuality. BUT...I draw the line with spinners. The only exception for me is trucks. They look okay on trucks. Defintely not luxury cars. Lambo doors belong on Lambo's or other exotics. It's not hate...you can do what you want. Hate would mean envy. I definitely am not envious. It's just taste. A car like the G is best when tastefully modded. I love chrome wheels but spinners....can't see it. You get an A for effort though.

 

Would you guys mind if I did hub cap spinners? I mean I CAN afford to buy it all by myself...

 

No, no, no. I didn't mean that you acted "gangsta" like sa-wigga. I meant you two were alike in that you both posted pics of yourselves and of your current/former girlfriends. You both desperately want to hear positive comments about said pictures. You both get all sensitive and hurt when you don't hear positive comments. You both have very high opinions of yourselves, yet you crave approval from everybody else. It's chilling how alike you two are.

I'm glad nothing I say offends you because that's not my intent really. I just call it like I see it which is probably not always a good thing.

sawdigga you seem like a nice dude but the sooner you realize that it really doesn't matter what others think about anything of yours the better it is for you. There is a reason something is called "yours", if you like a brown coupe with orange leather thats fine with everyone here I am sure just stop trying to push it on them no one has to like it.
