so i raced an s2000 and lost...by about 2 cars but my cars an auto and the s2k is obviously a stick and nether of us are broken in yet but he has more miles..went from a 25 roll ..i pulled in the beginning a little then when his vtec kicked in...he was goneeee hey at least i have moree luxuryy!!!LOL

 

yeaa its a quick car. when it comes to drivers the G can handle a s2k but stock for stock the s2k is a bit quicker.

 

You should have been able to stand your own against a stock one, a buddy of mine has one and I blow his doors off all the time,but then again I am a better driver then him.

 

s2ks are nice, props to those cars

at least these threads are written by different people.
but yeah, s2k is quite fast
if i have extra 30g, i'd most likely spend for s2k

 

honda needs to make a coupe version of that car... i dont like convertibles.

 

i don't like convertibles either, they do make a hardtop for it though. it looks better without imo. the s2k is really light and nimble. isn't as practicle as the G though

 

I'm glad I have the 6mt I do....I've never lost to an S2000....that would upset me pretty badly

 

I'd actually say 5AT and S2000 are about matched. 6MT might have a slight edge if he can shift right.

 

ive raced an s2000 and lost and by about 2cars also...those cars are quick...but our cars can hold 4 people

 

I have both a s2000 and A 2004 g35 coupe both with six speeds. even though I love the G I have to admit the s2000 is a little faster. Its all about horsepower to weight ratio. The s2000 excells in this area. The G should win from a dead stop the s2000 is very hard to launch and needs to rev up to get going.

 

Buy the hard top and boom...its now both of best worlds...

I have a 5AT .. and i had an s2k by atleast 3 cars when i raced at from about a 35mph roll ........ were you in MM when u raced the s2k? ..
