Anyways, I love my G, I just purchaced it but I still can't get over the angled steering they use (I was told they mimic porsches..) I only had the car a week but I really wished I had not purchased it...

And what are you talking about, "angled steering"?

I'll never buy another Infiniti product. Period.

I took it to the Infiniti dealer twice and they just blew me off. Infiniti Customer Service didn't want to address the issue either, and when I contacted the Michelin Customer Support they told me that they were getting swamped with calls from 350Z AND G35 owners complaining about the issue. I had to side with them when they said that this clearly is a design flaw in the suspension design of the 350Z and G35.

Are people who have changed their suspension having this problem? Not that everyone should do that but I do with my cars. I have Tein CS on my Lexus and was planning to get a set when I get a G. Not if they don't solve the problem though. Now I don't know what car to get.
I had a 94 J30. It had a funky suspension. It rode great on stock wheels but not on performance wheels. I had the same problem thats happening with the Z...cupped tires, uneven wear. To hear that Nissan/Infiniti have not solved the issue is very discouraging. Don't tell me I have to buy a GTO!

The steering wheels are angled on the left all Infiniti cars... the M, the FX etc... It's a ergonomic feature that Porsche developed as I understand... I personoly hate it but from what I hear it's supose to be great..
It encourages driving with one hand, but my question is, whet the hell happens on the track, you don't only use one hand...
I've only had the car for one week and I already want to give it back, this makes the car terrible to drive... I should of purchased a Bimmer...

Yep, I did my homework for about 1 year, I read and read, test drove the 03 and the 04 used and did not like the tranny/clutch notchy feel so I waited for the 05, test drove the BMW 330CI and the M3 and everyone that purchased a G on this board will tell you that after reading the horror stories BMW owners talk about and the price they pay was not worth 40K or 60K for the M
On the other hand, G owners complain about squeaks and Rattles, same problems I noticed in my previous cars (Prelude and Golf GTI) now I stayed away from the 350Z because of cupping problems and I did not like the S2000 or the RX8...
I tried to get a used Acura CL Type-S stick but there was none to be found in good condition...
Everyone will agree that the best bang for the dollar to combine class, luxury with sport, nothing even comes close to a 05 G35 6MT, the tranny is smooth on it and the clutch feel is just better... I test drove it but never noticed that the steering was angled, most people don't even know it is either... including you...
Don't tell me I did not do my homework man cause I did, this Is my biggest purchase yet, I love the car, looks and performance, instead of judging me, you could try and help me find a way to make my steering strait....
Sweet! Buy a bimmer, just don't be mad when you realize that there is NO perfect car out there. There will always be a fault in every car.....I have said this a couple of times b4 but I have never owned any car or been on any forum with this many people that bit*h about their car. Personally most of the bit*hing is about small stuff, rattling, radio, and now "angled steering"...lol
Try owning a brand new car that needs a new trans. at about 20k miles, about 1/3 of the owners of acura Cl, Tl and accord owners had to replace transmission. Warped rotors on most of the CL TL owners, rattles, squeeks, lots of road noise and the same (actually less impressive) bose stereo system. I also owned a 00 GTS celica, tons of people had to have the engine replaced because of bent valves, bad syncros.
Once I start hearing about major problems with the G, which I haven't yet, then I will assume it is a average car in regards to quality. I haven't heard much if any problems with the G with uneven tire wear, some people claim to get over 20k miles on them and this is with staggerd tires that can't be rotated.

Can you answer a question like, is the steering in a 350z angled and if not does it fit in a G?
Man from being on VW and Honda boards, I'm a little surprised at Infiniti owners behaviour...
I said the steering being angled makes the car unplesant to drive
I don't know what you call homework, but I think I would have noticed 'unpleasant steering feel" on the first test drive.
