The steering wheels are angled on the left all Infiniti cars... the M, the FX etc... It's a ergonomic feature that Porsche developed as I understand... I personoly hate it but from what I hear it's supose to be great..
It encourages driving with one hand, but my question is, whet the hell happens on the track, you don't only use one hand...
I've only had the car for one week and I already want to give it back, this makes the car terrible to drive... I should of purchased a Bimmer.......

Hey buddy. better get your toe-in check out. There is no such thing as a purposely designed angled steering. All cars should run as straight as an arrow out of a factory on a road with minimum crown.
A possible cause for this tire feathering is the aggressive castor on the front wheels. Ever turn the wheels while stationary? You will see the front of the whole car lift up. So if these cars are driven aggressively in a turn the inside of the front tires will wear out faster too.
Chances are most of the guys backing this suit drive the crap out of their cars and want free work done on them. In the long run this suit will hurt all current owners of 350 and g35's. Somebody's got to pay the bill and it won't be from nissan's pockets alone.

I have 25K miles on an '03 and the Pilot Sports are about ready to be replaced and have worn evenly - so no complaint on wear - but I have had really loud tire roar since 15K miles (just like in the 350Z law suit).
This is not normal, I don't care what the Dealer says.
So, why all the noise????

I can't believe it took this long for this to reach the G community. I'm sure some of you with '03/early '04 experience this as well. I have an early '04 Z. My wear started at around 8500 miles. By 11K, it was so unbearable I bought a new set of tires out of my own pocket. I took it into the Nissan dealership and they performed their TSB or "fix."
I now have aftermarket wheels with about 5K miles on them. So far, I haven't noticed any roar. I'm not holding my breath though. Many of the '03/'04 that went in for the "fix" had the wear come back. Of course, for the '04 owners, NNA is denying there is an issue with "feathering." The late '04 and '05 seem to be fixed.
For those of you with the wear issue, take it to the Infinity dealership. You'll have to fight with them for a bit. If the dealership doesn't respond, call NNA.
Due to NNA's response to this issue, the Z will be the last Nissan I ever buy. I love the Z and I'll drive it into the ground. Like I said, NNA will never have me as a customer again.

i've got an '05 coupe with the 18's and michelins with close to 8,000 miles on it. the tires actually look amazingly good considering the driving i expose it too. i honestly have no expectations of them lasting much longer than 20,000 miles. i've been around performance cars for a while now and have seen many a set of high performance tires go in a surprisngly quick period of time.
there is a price to performance... does anyone with the 17" stockers with the RE-92's have tire fethering problems? haven't read about a single case. that's because they're all-season bricks, not performance tires. my dad's BMW feathers tires like crazy... they last about 20~30k before they're toast, and he drives like an old man. camber is the criminal, and the levels of grip that we expect out of these cars require aggressive suspension settings.
btw, i never use my seat but my co-workers do all the time. they say there's quite a bit of leg room.
