Maybe he thought that you thought YOU were the s*#t. LOL. I'm sure he would have been very impressed with your BOV....

 

You have to understand, allot of people that buy G35's are trying to profile and are looking for status, they don't care how the car rolls or how much power it has, they don't care that they can turn the VDC off etc... they beleive that the G is in the same league as the Benz and people in Benzes don't wave at each other, they usualy try to snob each other with bigger tags like SL500 vs SL600 vs SL AMG 65, they would not attend a car meet etc...

Understand my friend, the G35 is a Luxury car that attracts the sports car fan...

 

There are only a few G35 coupes around where I live and about everyone of them wave over to me, well if they see me. I even get waves from G35 sedans every now and then.

i usually get thumbs up from Zs and rarely from any Gs

 

exactly what I said, Z owners = Car Fanatics, G owners = Snobs,

G owners on this board = Car fanatics that value luxury to much to crom themselves in a Z or a S2000

 

I always try to acknowledge other G/Z owners when I can... if they ignore, it's their loss. really....

haha. I love this forum. I have explained this to my husband (why I wave at fellow G owners) he just doesnt understand. But I am known as the girl in the Red G that waves to everyone! I mean full-fledged hand out the window waving!! hehe I love it..we should be proud more people are buying our cars and we are looked at the bigger person who waved!! ***cheers to those who wave***

 

I haven't seen any G's around where live, only time I did was when I was at a stoplight and this hottie of a driver in a DG '04 rolled down her window and said she liked my car. Then she proceeded to try and race me up and down the street on the way home. No offense but the girl couldn't drive.

 

I have not encountered another G owner on the road yet, but then again, I have the car for a little under two weeks. But when I drive my Murano, I get honks and waves all the time from other Murano owners. Coming from my Honda Accord, I thought this was a funny gesture. My Accord was a show car and every other "modded" Accord wouldn't even look in my direction. After my first encounter in the Murano, I decided Nissan guys are much nicer to each other. And then I got rid of the Accord and got my G.

 

Dont know about you, but you see a lot of G35 Coupes in Queens? I know here in Central Jersey its pretty rare that I ever see another G on the road, so when I roll up in it, it is impressive.

 

i was just at the car wash and got a honk from a dark blue g coupe while i was pulling out of the wash. And he gave a good stern wave.

i when i usally see a G i roll down my windows and tell the driver that they have a nice car
...wait for 2 secs to let them realize im in the same car....
they always say thanks laugh alittle and thats its....

BUT There are sum drivers that are jus D*CKS about it
i pulled up to a peral g once and i waved at him and all he did was roll up his window!!!
i was like no F-ing way!?!? so i just reved my engine and took off when it turned green
