Question on terminating lease early Hann Financial

I wanted to see if anyone has terminated a lease early and gotten into another G or Infiniti. I was looking into terminating my lease on my '03 to get into an '05 6MT. I have low mileage on it and it's fully loaded so resale should be pretty high.

Any information anyone could provide would be appreciated.

go blue book it and compare the buy out. If you can buy out your lease early without any penalties then put it up for sale and make a couple grand(if your lucky). If you just hand it back to them you will take a hit i wager.

but how can you sell the car when the car is leased? it has to go thru the dealer somehow right?

no you can buy out the lease and then you can sell the car. I did that on my last car.

Who did you lease through? Were there any fees for ending it early (if you ended early)?

what about i don't have enough cash on hand to buy it out then do i have to get another loan?

I think you can sell it and use the money earned to pay back the lease company if I'm not mistaken.

Thats correct. Contact your dealership or leasing office. They have no qualms about tealling you how to do it. It saves them alot of hassle versus doing it themselves =)

Talking Just Did It Monday

I had a 2004 Base g35 coupe w/29,000 miles leased for 48 months my payoff was $23,600 with 29 months left, the dealer gave me $24,000 for it. I turned around and leased a 2005 6mt.

Yeah, dealer quoted me low on a trade in, gonna have to go out there and crunch some numbers. I think I'm going to wait to order an '06 6MT and then work on the trade if it is favorable, otherwise I'll sell it privately and try and make a few bucks.

Try Another Dealer

Some Dealers Need To Make Deals And If Its Close You Can Put The Neg Equ In The New Lease.
