3/8 spacer on 05 AT coupe

Installed the spacer last night with a buddy of mine, took about 1.5 hours at a relaxed pace. I'm fairly sure the install was done properly becuase my friend does a lot of work on his bpu supra and is competent with cars.

Anyhow, As for driving impressoins, I couldnt definitively say that I actually felt a power increase. I've yet to do an ecu reset, but I plan on doing that sometime today. I believe that this mod makes power based on the dyno charts i've seen and all of the raving reviews; but I cant say that I for sure felt an increase in power. What do you guys think?

The ECU reset will not do anything for your mods. Save yourself the the trouble......unless you are just wanting to reset your automatic transmission to the factory settings.

Resetting the ECU has no affect on the mods.

I noticed a difference on mine imediately. The powerband is smoother and more efficient. I ccan tell that my car breaths better.

now i'm starting to feel like my car is revving more freely also, but honestly its hard to tell whether its all in your head or not. If the mod makes 10 hp, which would be great, its pretty damn hard to feel 10 hp on a 280 hp car.

Yeah like you said, its hard to tell if there is a difference or not. I dont know if you have seen it, but Kyosho's 5AT used to lose to Klumzees 6MT until Kyosho added the plenum spacer, so its deffinetly doing something.

But 1.5 hour install? Seems a little long, I didn't know there was that much work involved.

as long as you think it makes the powerband smoother and gives you more hp, does it matter if it really does or not? enjoy it anyway! ok, nm, i just thought about what i said and yes, it does matter!

The first time I drove mine with the 3/8 spacer, I had just got out of a 280 HP Sedan. I noticed the difference right away between the two.
