Quick question to all infiniti owners

Hello everyone.
I just purchased my own 6MT G35 coupe last Saturday (so it's about 5days ago) and I've put 250miles on the car.
And here's my question.
Is it possible for negotiate price after purchase? cause it seem like I've over paid on my aero body kit (with spoiler).
The dealer charged me $500 on splash guards and another $1,300 on aerodynamic body kit (with spoiler).
I just happend to checked from Infiniti site that AErodynamic body kit (with spoiler) comes with splash guards AND priced only $1220!!!

Seems like I've ripped off from the dealer about $580...

Do I have right to demand refund on this amount? or get at least extra stuff installed (like XM radio and side molding)?

Man~ this gets on my nerve all day yesterday and today...

no you cant, should have got everything itemized before you sat down with the finance person. After you sign all the documents its to late, unless you received a faulty product.

They try to do that to make more money. When I was a salesman I saw my co workers do it all the time to make up for lowering the price of the car. They also play with the price of etching, extended warrenties, and any other things.

yep, sad but true. once you sign the papers the car is yours at that signed negotiated price. you can file a complaint, but it probably wont do much.

what about that guy that was completely robbed in his lease deal and maybe 30% of the board members kept on insisting that he had the right to get his money back

I'll take it as a valuable lesson.

Thank you guys for the comments.

P.S - just in curiosity, it might or will sound stupid but... is there a law for which you may return the vehicle within 7days of purchase and get full money back? cause I just heard it somewhere. Oh well, thankx guys!!! ^^

Did you get your Infinite Customer Service phone call interview yet? If not, call the dealer and tell them if they don't do SOMETHING for you, you are going to give a VERY BAD review. Seems to me that review means a lot to them.....

i do believe some states have a cooling off perioed. I'm not sure if it applies to new cars or not.

Body kit

Bro, go and fight, the sooner the better. Their best excuse should be labor and installation, but when you fight, yell! and dont' show that you understand that and bull them that the installation is included. Demand a refund and threaten them with a complaint at the headquarters. You got nothing to lose. Even if you dont' get a refund, but few free oil changes washes or any other service, it still better than nothing.
Good luck, and as someone said, lesson learned. Always do extensive reasearch on the internet, before you purchase ANYTHING.

i dont think you can- you signed a contract basically.
what you can do is just ask them to confirm thats what happened and then post the story all over the place. they may or may not care but itll promote awareness.

is it really worth it to you though? thats like 1-2% of purchase price...

I agree that you signed and are therefore obligated. Not sure what sort of progress you'll make by going in and raising a stink about it. But, FWIW, labor cost is included in the cost of those options (at the MSRP cost of those options). The MSRP of the car increases by the cost of the options, yet you don't have to pay extra for installation. I only paid the MSRP reflected on Infiniti's website for my splash guards, installed.

Man.. the same thing happened to me with the extended warranty. I figured they offered the extra warranty at the same price to everybody. It wasn't until I read on this forum that people negotiated the price of their warranty and got it much lower than I did. Really pissed me off.
