Willow or Graphite int. ur opinions

Re: Willow or Graphite int. ur opinions
I guess my ride's badd enuff, so I don't have to worry about the interior color. But, back to the "great debate". Me? I wanted cooler (temperature) interior; never liked sticking to the seats---just me, no flames please.
According to one "survey", non-scientific of course, I've got the least-liked color of the bunch, platinum, and maybe, the least-liked interior color, willow. In a 6mt coupe. Hey, I can live with that: not seeing myself (or my ride) coming and going, and not sweating it (literally). S'okay with me!
As to the car mags that seem to uniformly say the interior is cheap looking (seems like one writer for ten car mags...), or too many plastics, or too many cheap plastics, welllllllllllllllllllll, I don't agree. I think they did a pretty good job of colors, matching/contrasting, etc. Could it have been better? Do you think there's ANY plastic interior that could have been better--oh yeah---all of them!! Which then means every car's interior could be better since almost all cars have plastic interiors to one degree or another, altho some are better (a little) than others, granted.
I'm satisfied even if it's a little tuff to keep the interior/door panels scuff-free and the carpets clean (applied Scothguard; hope it helps). And I'd do it/get the same interior color again!

I really like the Willow interior, but there are two reasons I didn't get it:
1 - I wanted Diamong Graphite exterior, and to me, a beige interior on a grey exterior just doesn't 'go'. A grey exterior and grey interior just looks more balanced and natural.
2 - My last car had a light colored interior, and it was a pain to keep clean. The carpet was constantly showing stains and dirt. And if you spill like a Coke or something on the carpet - forget it.

I think you just have to sit in both...even if that means doing an inventory search on infiniti.com and hunting the apropriate color down. I think they both have a dramatically different feel to them.
The titanium in the black interior offers more contrast and an edgy yet classy feel. I usually feel graphite interiors are too dark but with the titanium and lighter color overhead I didn't get that feel. The graphite also feel smaller but more cozy.
The willow is offers very low contrast. It feels bright, airy and perky somehow. Not as cozy though. It's very pleasant but doesn't feel overly sporty.
I choose dp for my car's exterior and I felt the only way to give the car a serious, sporty edge with this color was to get the graphite interior...

Slightly off subject, but I checked out the new FX45's and they have an all-black headliner. Talk about badass! It really made the FX feel like the inside of Darth Vader's ship or something.
For our G's, the graphite interior with a dark headliner would've been awesome, instead we have that willow-on-top crap. I'm just waiting for an aftermarket headliner replacement kit.
