Thanks for the continued advice!

I'll be sure to post my experience and some pics. I'll also let you guys know how the brembos with stock pads and fluids hold up.

This time I only had 2 days notice, so next time I will get some track pads and better fluid. Then I can really note the difference.

And yes, you are correct about the possibility of damage even in the runoff areas. Luckily since this is only a 1.8m circuit the speeds don't get quite up there as much as they would on a 2.5-3.0. Track setup is basically one 1900' straight ending with a chicane, then some small essess, a 1000' straight, a couple more meandering turns, 800' straight, then long right hander going to start/finish.

I can't wait! I literally couldn't sleep last night, like a 7 year old on Christmas Eve!

i've ran the street tires at 30psi on track days. I'm still sitting here at my computer writing. 30psi is NOT dangerously low psi. as heat progresses in the tires, the psi goes up a few psi...so really, at track temp you're getting anywhere between 35psi-40psi. i've found that at 30psi worked for me, i'm not implying it will work for anyone else. bringing the psi down contributed o giving me an average of .50 seconds off my lap times...but, that at my neck of the woods.

i'm not trying to kill anyone. all i'm suggesting is to try it out. if you dont like it, dont do it or bring the psi back up to 35-40psi, wherever you have it. if youre a consistant driver, playing with tire pressures will account for some time if you have nothing else to adjust, you just have to play it by ear.

between the results of the months of may 7th and july 24th, my lap times have been dropping. between may and june is where i started to play with the tires pressure. during the last event, i would've had a better final lap time if i hadnt screwed up in few parts of the course, while on DOT R Compound tires. I havent had the chance to play with the pressure, but I will next time, in hopes of setting another personal best. My number is 57R

LIKE 636Racer says, 30 Psi works, keeps the G from pushing so much, especially if you have the stock sway bars & or springs...

Important:
DO NOT PUT YOUR EMERGENCY BRAKE ON AFTER SEVERAL HOT LAPS, DOING SO COULD WARP THE REAR ROTOR.
ALSO LET THE CAR SIT WITH THE HOOD UP AND IDLE FOR SEVERAL MINUTES AFTER COMING IN TO LET THE FANS BRING THE ENGINE TEMP DOWN...

Or you could do some cool down laps.

19" LMGT4's. They don't make those in 20". Hey, I don't guess you're ready to "upgrade" your wheels Rugrat, and sell me your Nismos, huh?
