IS IT ME OR DO BRAKES FEAL WEIRD ON HOT DAYS I MEAN IN THE 90s. IT HAS GOTTEN REALLY HOT HERE AND I FEAL LIKE MY BRAKES DOTN GRIP AS THEY USE TO AND THEY ARE BRAND NEW PADS ON ALL FOUR BRAKES.

 

I think your ride is due a visit to shop for a brake inspection. If they do not feel right to you, I personally would not risk it.

 

haha, yes please. If they are new, give them time, if not then you should take it to the dealer or a shop, mine do not feel different on hot days. (maybe its a mental thing where you know brakes dont work as well after you use them a lot and heat them up, so you tihnk they feel different on a hot day??) Have someone look at the brakes if they are not new.

With spirited driving and stop and go with long pauses at lights, they may very well be baking on top of the fact that they are new. Yes, they need to bed in before they'll be optimal but they may also be fading in addition from lack of ability to cool. I felt this last week when in Chicago we had 100 degree days for a week straight.
