Anyone have a weak parking brake from factory?

I just got my 6MT last week and I tried parking it on a sloped driveway with the hand brake...it started creeping back. THis is with the hand brake all the way up.

Not a very common issue.. but the dealer can adjust for you easily.

Mine is also not very strong either... I guess I'll take it in as well when I have time

I just use 1st or 2nd gear to stop it from rolling. It's the safest way anyway.

You have to pull it hard (the e-brake :/) to get it to hold. I've noticed it too and my G is only 1 1/2 months old.

Mine was pretty weak at first too, then one time I pulled it and there was a snap and it went limp and my car started rolling. I took it to the dealer and they tightened it up when they fixed it and it is a lot better now.

Mine is very weak, too. Perhaps I will have to have it tightened by the dealer the next time I'm there. Damn 2 hour trip to the nearest Infiniti dealership.

When you do this, does your car squeak when you get out?
