New coupe: Clearbra

I leased a '05 6MT and will be picking it up Tuesday. I may the vehicle at the end of the lease. The dealer puts clearbra on the front of the wheelwell and door edges prior to delivery.

- My question is should I invest in the clearbra on a leased vehicle?
- If I get the clearbra what should i get? The front bumper seems obvious.
- How about the headlights, hood, and fender?

I look forward to being a member of this board!

Hmmm . . . What is the duration of your lease? Unless, you are planning to purchase the car at the end of the lease period, I would not bother investing the CASHOLA. The dealer may definitely appreciate it. However, I don't really see the long term benefit(s), which the clear bra type product will afford you.

Oh, btw . . . welcome to the forum.

39mo lease... I usually get tired of a vehicle after 3 years so leasing seems like the way togo.

I got the car @ 500 over dealer invoice which meant $459/mo +tax lease payment.

If you're thinking of buying out the G after the lease, then sure get some clearbra for the hood, side mirrors, and front bumper.
Welcome to G35Driver and enjoy the new ride.

It depends on what color you have, how often you drive on the highway and how **** you are about paint imperfections. You can get the front bumper only, or get 1/3 of the hood, front part of the fenders and sideview mirrors done too (basically the full kit). And how much does your dealer charge? Some want as high as $700. Have you seen other cars they've done? A good job depends on the installer more than anything, so I'd ask around in your regional forum if people know of a good installer. It doesn't have to be done at the dealer. Are you from Boca Raton by any chance?
