What other cars did you consider before purchasing your G?

These were the serious contenders:
Nissan 350z - too cheap feeling
Nissan Altima SE-R - I actually liked this car a lot
Subaru Legacy GT Limited - Great car, just not as good as the G, and I'd rather wait till an STI version comes out
Porsche 968 - Incredible car, just couldn't find the right one in my time frame

350z - felt cheap and lacked the backseat
Evo - felt even cheaper and lacked comforts - but damn did that thing go!
Sti - my brother in law has a sub, so i couldnt dare get the same as him!
A4 - too pricey for not enough performance
M3 (used) - why buy used when u can buy new?
S2k - not enough room! But super-cool indeed....
And the Winner is.......a G35x Sedan!!!!! Wait what??? yeah, i had that for 8 months, modded a little (19s, eibachs, clears, tint, etc) but then i got the itch for something mean, something stick, something with Navi and Brembos......so the REAL was is.......my 2004 G35 Coupe - Loaded with Navi and every other possilbe thing u can imagine....plus, ive added a few things too heh heh heh

C5 Corvette- last fall GM was giving the last of the C5's away with the introduction of the C6. I've had three made in Japan Nissans prior to the G and had great luck with all of them, and I couldn't force myself to buy an American product. The G simply matches my style much better as well. I'm not a redneck! LOL

rx8 ... great looking car, great handling, but overstated hp (which means lower than 230) and very cheap interior...
is300 ... great handling car, doesnt depreciate well, but will when the is250,350 comes out. Low horsepower (215) outdated design (came out in japan in late 90's) and great engine

350Z - Too many of them where I'm from.
BMW Z4 - With the convertable top up...YUCK! Plus didn't have the one I wanted on the lot.
BMW M3 - Insurance, and overall alittle pricey - all the beemers seemed to be priced alittle too high.
Lotus Elise - the 1.5 year waiting period [still on the list somewhere]. I didn't wanna wait that long...I wanted a new car!
IS300 - Cheap feeling, handled nice though. 4-dr, not for me quite yet.
S2000 - Again, never have been a fan of convertable...didn't like the hard tops for them. If every day was sunny and 70*, I'd love it.
STi, Evo, S60R, all 4-dr...grrr! The Volvo was sexy....
