Graduation, New Job, and a New G!

Hey all,

I wanted to introduce myself to the forums. I spent 4 long years in school and the only thing keeping me going was knowing when I graduated I would be able to buy a sweet ride.

Well here is my graduation present to myself: 2003 6MT (less than 10K miles when I got it)
Came loaded with every option except aero, which was fine with me.

<img SRC="http://web.mit.edu/joearlo/Public/Drive%20Slowly3.JPG" width=640 height=480 img>

I used to show my VW Golf back in high school and really enjoyed the VW community so it is nice to see such a solid following on G35Driver. Right now I am simply content keeping the car stock (except for tints and clears) . . . but you can be sure I have some bigger plans I'll put into action next spring.

Cheers
arlo

Thanks . . . lol - hell. If I like the spoiler enough I might just have to go ahead and trade up for an '06.

Yeah, it was a great find. Previous owner was a 41-year old engishman working in Boston. The car never saw winter because he also had an SUV. He was called back to work and England so he had to give it up. Only blemishes on the car are a few scratches on the clear bra.

Unfortunatley I have a 30 mile commute to work (each way) in Michigan - so I might pick up a beater for my commute and to get me through the winter. Although for right now I'm still enjoying every moment I can have in the driver's seat!
