Everyone has his own sense of style and beauty, but the 330 looks kind of boring to me but at least it's not down right ugly like the BMW 5 and 7 series cars. When I shared my views about the appearance of the 5 series to a BMW salesman, he told me that it's looks would grow on me. I told him when I pay $55K for a car I don't want to have to get use to its looks. To me the G35C is one of the best looking cars on the road regardless of price.
the point is, the 280 engin and 298 engine do not have much differences. one has more hp less torq, the other has less hp and more torq. it does not change that much on the driving behavior of the car. its proven by others that there are no significant or true differences in the performance of the two engines!

It sounds like you're really biased towards BMW. The whole time you keep comparing the 330ci and the G35, but you ended up with the G35. And being so biased after making your decision, you blame the G for all the problems you've been having.
I'm not trying to crticize your shopping techniques, but how could you get locked into a deal as you describe it? If you weren't ready to buy, why did you let the salesman take advantage of you. I would have said good day and walked out of the place. Never give them all your information and run numbers if you're not ready to deal.
You keep blaming the car for all your back pain and health problems, but maybe you had these things all before the car. I don't get how owning a car for 13 days could mess up your back.
btw.. Recaro seats and Sparco seats are even stiffer... prolly would make things worse

Were there test results?
Do you remember what they were? What packages did the G have- just courios how the changes in weight and/or wheels (or perhaps if it had the sport package) affected overall performance.

I got to agree. Yes, that may have been the worst Infinti dealership experience I've heard to date, but I've also never read of someone making such bad/stupid decisions while purchasing a car either!! It seemed like after every sentence in your post, I said to myself, "Why the hell did you do that?" or, "What were you thinking?".
95% of your problems were you own fault/stupidity, and yet your whole post centered around how your dealership and Inifiniti in general, screwed you over. You screwed yourself. A little bit of common sense could have gone a long way in your case.

The post is not about how my mistakes are stupid... I got the car I wanted in the end, the post is about the seats being bad... read on this board... all the problems with the seats... my transaction was stupid and I know that but in the end I had never mentionned regretting my choice for any other reason then the seats....
I have the same problem with the car every other guy that complained on this board has... over 5'10 asand 180 pounds... the seats are bad...
read for yourself, it's not only me complaining.....

Wait, this is a problem with the sedan also? I thought it was only the coupe. I'm 6 foot, ~200 lbs and have not noticed any discomfort in either my coupe (03, driven for 15k miles) or my sedan (03, driven for 5k so far). Weird.

One subtle disadvantage of the G35 is its 20 gal fuel tank. If I'm not mistaken I believe the magazines test all cars with full tanks of gas. When I ran 1/4s I tried to run with nearly an empty tank to cut down on weight, no more than an 1/8 of a tank. Also, it's not easy to get a good launch with an automatic tranny.

I did have two problems that I solved. First the lumbar support had to go.. it was killing me for a week before I stupidly realized that it was adjustible. The other issue.. I have long legs, and I had a problem with the right lower seat bolster. It was very stiff on my leg after long trips. I just went to an upholstery shop, and had them take out as much foam as possible.. as well as move the right seat controls outwards. Fixed my problem.. didn't ruin the seat at all. You can also use jel or foam seat pads.
