With or without titanium tint looks the same. I've had a rydes with both tints and the titanium deflects more of the heat. But good lord...$225?!? Where the heck do you live that costs you that much? Out here in california, since tint shops are dime a dozen, for 5 windows; limo style tint that's about 90% w/ titanium film, it'll only costs you $100. Believe me this place isn't one of those mom and pop tint shops. If you drive a rice rocket in the LA area, you know this place.

 

1. Um, find something cheaper like Llumar for $100-130, specially on a leased car
2. Unless you live in one of the crazy tint law states where cops harass you on every corner for tint, go darker. 38% is not worth the money at all.

 

Get 20-30% black tint. Titanium is ew.

 

if you want a good tint job, expect to pay high $200's low $300's

 

IMO, on IP, tint looks good but not really worth it. Tint just gives cops one more reason to harass you. Especially in California, I hear they are no longer giving out fix it tickets.

Definitely go with 38% and up on those tints. Its aesthetically pleasing, reduce UV (that destroys interior), and lower temps a bit in cabin. But if its a leased car that'll be ultimately returned back to the dealers--dont bother with the scandalous $220...go elsewhere.

 

i like mine tinted. you have to make sure you get tint without any metal in it though otherwise it has a very good chance of screwing up your reception, particularly the AM reception (not like people listen to AM much). only thing that sucks is that the tint without metal costs more.

Definitely tint it man. Just tinted my 05 black coupe with 32% and it looks great! I am leasing as well. I live in suburbs of Philly and I paid $250......around here, that is what you pay for a good tint job......

 

True they're not considered fix it tickets anymore over here in California but tinted windows are the last on cops minds. I roll up on cops and just nod at them with the windows up. My tint was the darkiest u could possible get. I will admit I got pulled over twice for unrelated reasons where the cop asked if my windows were tinted and just brushed it off. Cops have better things to worry about then tinted windows. What they will stop you for are modified exhausts, lowered rydes and noise pollution. If cops wanted to be a*holes, they'll pull people over for their wannabe xenon lights.

 

gotta tint. 5% is the only way.
