Resistance putting gear shifter in gear...
Resistance putting gear shifter in gear...
i was driving today and i went to shift to 3rd and noticed there was some resistance. I know it wasnt grinding at all, but i had to push a little harder for some reason
Mine does the same thing, it's been discussed in a few other posts earlier this year.
And for the "Clutch depressed" comment... I can shift gears without a clutch, it's not that hard. I used to drive gravel trucks, after shifting 1000's of times in a day your leg gets really tired. You learn real quick how to shift without a clutch.

First off this is not power shifting, it's shifting without using a clutch. To get it out of gear hold your RPM's steady around 3-4K with no load, then gently slip it out of gear, give your gas pedal a little blip to rev match to your speed, then slip it into the next higher gear. If you get your RPM's right, it slips into gear without any problems.
I used this to get my se-r home once when the clutch cable broke, I got lucky and hit all the lights green, sliped it out of gear and coasted into the garage.
