Mileage doesn't mean a thing until you turn in your car.

you mean IF you turn in the car.... you don't pay this penalty if you buy your car, but then you've got to pay tax on the purchase and usually a higher interest rate on a used car loan... either way, it's not pretty.

Well, I didn't think that I needed to state the obvious.

i try to never assume anything. i figured you knew, but i also thought someone who reads this might not know the lease buy out options voids the mileage issue, in most cases. i didn't mean to offend.

Just buy it. If you went with IFS - use the option to buy.... and then sell it.

Infinity has no idea how much you drive each year unless you let the dealer do your service. Then again, it doesn't matter because they go off of the total at lease end.

I was stupid and paid extra upfront for 18k miles per year. Will they give me a credit at lease end for not using all my miles? NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I remember when I purchased my wifes lease on a G20 few years ago, the company who finaced the car wanted a mileage to give it to the original lessee...... Not positive tho.
