goin over miles with a lease

hey i got a question if u lease a car from infiniti andu get an allowence 12000 miles a year for a 3 yr lease.

say the first year u use 16000 miles meaning 4000 over ur allowence

the second year u use 8000 mile meaning 4000 under your allowence

the third year u use 12000 mile right on allowence

in total u used 36000 mile so you didnt go over your allowed amount for 3 years

do they still charge you for the first year that you went over?

Optional
Its total miles at the end of lease, so...

...if you've agreed to a 3yr or 36,000k mile lease ($0.15 ea mile over 36,000)

...you turn in your vehicle with 42,000 miles on it...you owe an additional $900 upon lease termination ($0.15 x 6000 miles).

If you decide to get another vehicle from the same mfg you can roll that $900 into the bottom line of that next vehicle (negative equity).

I'm guessing your roughly 14,000 miles over your lease and want to roll back the odometer
