Whatever....that video just shows how much some people are hating on the srt-4 because it costs less than their cars and is still faster. Ooooo one broke down on the track, thats never happened to a mustang before. Personally, I'm not a big fan of the car and would never own one b/c the interior is absolute crap....but you still gotta give that car respect for how fast it is and can be made. Throw 2k in a g35 coupe and you get like 10hp maybe, throw that in a srt-4 and you'll get a whole lot more.

 

+1.... i agree but still one hella ugly looking car.... i saw a yellow one the other day and thru my rear view mirror car almost look like pikachu..(i dunno if i spell that correctly)

Beat me when??? yes I 'll say your best time was better than mine that day. However we have never actually raced **YET** BRING IT!!

 

I have to agree they deserve respect (speed wise & H.P. to $ spent) But it's still IMO ugly and most of the owners I have met generally seem pissed off. Overall if I didn't care what my car looked like and I didn't have the money to spend I guess they would be pretty fun.

 

It could run a 11 sec 1/4 mile on stock everything for all I care....it will always be a Neon (the perferred choice for rental car companies)

This is one case where speed ain't everything....

 

They are great for what they are Inexpensive speed, with potential for more as most all turbo cars have far more so than N/A cars.
Have to give Kudos to the Turbo Buicks for kicking off the entire modify a stock turbo drive train for impressive gains thing.

 

You guys are lucky my front support beam crushed into my cooling fans that day or I would of pulled my bumper off for added aero and raced everyone!

Actually I believe the 2005 is the last year the Neon SRT4 is being built. Just curious why so quick to end there run. Some rumor was Dodge/Mitsu was teaming up making an EVO but who knows...

 

Is that what happened? I seem to recall an issue with a cadillac and a red light...
