theyre still pretty expensive - into the thousands per corner i believe, and im not sure if any of them that are available are compatible with the G35, so i doubt anyone has them, but who knows

lol ceramic brakes... yes they're cool... they look cool and glows when u use them and burns up when u use them too much...(if u saw TOP GEAR's SLR test... it's ceramic brakes caught fire after breaking hard)

few things tho.... 1st price is super high... very very expensive... and i don think anything is out for the G yet... 2nd... the brakes feel weird... it's very very hard to slow down... it's either on or off... so teh brake pedel is very hard to use...

You can only stop a tire so fast. The only thing that ceramic brakes would help with is brake fade after threshhold braking over and over again. Ceramic brakes are only better at disapating heat quicker.

They would only be an advantage if the rotors themselves were larger, but then you might as well go with larger normal rotors and save big bucks.

13" ceramic rotors and 13" normal rotors would stop a car in the same distance. The only difference would be less brake fade with ceramics if on a race track bombing into every corner.

The Enzo is carbon ceramic. Not carbon fiber.

ceramic brake advantages:
-fade resistance
-reduced unsprung weight (aids handling, acceleration, etc)
-near-zero maintenance (porsche claims they last 100k+mi in street use)
-near-zero brake dust

ceramic brake disadvantages:
-cost (probably $2-3k per corner+)
-fragility

i believe issues with brake feel are related to M-B's by wire breaking system and not necessarily the rotors

I was speaking to a VERY reputable source who knows brakes and installed mine... Ceramic brakes are way over priced and contain less than .001% of ceramic in them. Honeslty they are no different then other rotors in many cases... I got a set of STOPTECH slotted rotors and they truly rock!

Slotted AeroRotor DRK - Front
Direct Replacement 2 Piece AeroRotor Kit for the front of the 2004 Infiniti G35 w/ 6MT. The kit includes two 7075-T6 billet aluminum AeroHats with directional standoffs, two StopTech hat mounting kits with our proprietary inconel spring washer retenetion system, and two 324x30mm slotted, floating, front AeroRotors. These parts are assembled and tested to order at StopTech headquarters in Torrance, California. These floating rotors are designed specifically to be used with the OE front calipers, so if you're looking for assembled two-piece replacement rotors for your StopTech Big Brake Upgrade, please contact us at sales@stoptech.com.
