This is just ridiculous!!!

I filled up my tank for $40 just last week!!! WTF, $10 jump in one week???

I was about to say the exact same thing...thats the good life...i miss spending 40 or 50 bucks....more like 70+ now....

I read an article today about rising gas prices. I think we're going to remember these days as the good 'ol days when gas was "only" $2.70 per gallon.

Ahhhhh....you still had 2.4 gallons left in her. At $2.79 (what you seemed to have paid), we could easily get that above $55.00. See...."al....ways look on the briiiiiiight side of life..."

I spent that much filling up my car and it still had a 1/4 tank in it. Gas prices here for 91 are about 3.09 per gallon.

Gas was in the low 1.xx just a few years ago. It sucks.. it would cost like a little over 20 bucks to fill up a tank on average.

I want to add that I filled up at a grocery store gas station. These stations are about 20 cents cheaper than Shell, Exxon, etc....

Does anybody know how this gas matches up against name brand gas?
